Jamboree Experience
Check out the photo on the top of the blog. The 2005 Jamboree Troop with Scouts from White Buffalo and Western Star Districts. I can count 18 Scouts who earned their Eagle badge and four more Eagle candidates who will complete this year. That is 22 Eagle Scouts!! And we have two coming back has 3rd Assistant Scoutmasters and four more that attended in 2005 coming back as participants. THAT is the Jamboree effect!

September Troop Meeting
Very productive meeting last night. We started about 7:10pm and closed at 8:34pm.The sanctuary was full of Scouts and parents.
The next Troop meeting is in January. Date to come soon. Medical forms are due by that meeting.
We made updates to the files on the google group. The troop roster is updated. There is now a sample itenerary. The Personal Equipment list is updated to include T-shirts and light sleeping bag.
We are taking designs on a patch for both troops. A patch we create and order for our two troops we sell at cost to our Scouts to trade. If you have any inspired artists please tell them to submit a design to wbjamboree@gmail.com
We are meeting with the tour agency next month. If you have places you want to visit in NYC or Washington DC please let us know before October 21st. We will submit an itenerary we want our tour agent to follow at the October meeting.
